The Full Story

Gardner's Pig Pen

In 2015, I adopted my first guinea pig from the county shelter, I did everything wrong and after educating myself about them needing a friend I adopted two more (which eventually led to a herd of 10).  Since then I have educated people randomly in pet stores, spread the joy of guinea pig ownership and then started fostering.  Years later I am a 501(c)3 and have over 40 Guinea Pigs in my care.

Mission

Educate and expand awareness that Guinea Pigs aren't disposable, they need to live in pairs, live 5-8 years, need  proper nutrition and vet care.
