Gardner's Pig Pen is a small home based and volunteer run 501(c)(3) rescue for guinea pigs based in Sacramento Valley. We are not a commercial shelter, we are funded by ourselves and donations. We saved OVER 295 piggies in 2025!

Note: We practice managed admissions. Shelters, Emergency and Stray admissions take priority. Owner surrenders are waitlisted until we have capacity and we also require a surrender fee. At this time the list is very long. You can also post your pigs on www. guineapigfinder.com to rehome yourself.  Always charge a rehoming fee to avoid your pets becoming snake food.
